It feels backwards, thanking someone after their extension of a welcome, but thank you. Also, a part of me felt it was a bit wrong, my being depicted (quite uncannily) in your forum banner without having the decency to create an account. Truthfully I just the other day checked the gmail acct with which I'd registered under JG and saw that the board had moved. So, here I am.

I've (technically until now, I suppose) sort of withdrawn from nearly all social networking sites and online communities for going on ... over a year now, I'd guess. Hence, my disappearance from not only Poison Lounge and the old JG, but my own message board, to boot. Sadly, that seems to have played a large role in capsizing my own community as the board is now dead, but the whole "OMG FACEBOOK MYSPACE" mentality was just something I'd lost the energy for. Currently I ghost Facebook, but not any else of the above.

So... does this board get much action? Roughly how many users contribute on a regular basis?

Just curious. I don't have the energy for a pompous introductory post. lol

i'd recommend heading back to TPL and i know everyone would be glad to see ya. lots of people disappear online for a while and come back. glad you're here... hope to see you there. and btw... where do you get the tiny paddles you need to jumpstart a doormouse?
